Air China, China's only national flag carrier, announced it plans to launch a non-stop service connceting Beijing and Siem Reap, Cambodia on Dec. 1.
Flight CA825/6 will be offered twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays in the first stage using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and will be increased to four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays starting from Jan. 1, 2014.
Siem Reap, known as home to world-famous Angkor, one of the seven wonders in the world, attracts visitors from all over the world. Since it is located in the northwest of the nation, people to Angkor have to transfer from Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, and it takes about six hours for passengers to cover a distance of 300 kilometers between Phnom Penh and Angkor, which is very tiresome. The soon-to-be-opened flight will deliver passengers directly to their destination and enable them to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
